The Story
Imagine a dog that isn’t allowed to wear clothes. A dog that does just fine with this situation until one day, while traveling in Europe, he winds up in a bit of a predicament.
He finds himself in an ice storm… and it’s below freezing.
Thankfully, his suddenly rational owners whisk him off to a small corner pet shop where, much to his delight, he gets a coat. The coat fits him great. He feels great. Toasty, comfortable, and he gets approving nods all around.
Luckily, his owners let him wear his new coat during the entire trip.
This true tale tells you a little about Aldo “Bub,” the inspiration for BUB. Bub would have gone coatless had we not been forced by the elements (fate?) to get him a truly spiffy coat.
Unfortunately, when we got back to the states, we were never able to find the same exact design. Other coats we tried got rejected, either by us – (too many mats to the hair on his chest), or by Bub – (I refuse to move while you have this coat on me. Remove it immediately.)
After searching, we decided to make our own coat. One that models itelf on some of the quality elements of the coat we found at that small pet shop.
After testing, we’ve made our unique BUB coats available to the public. We hope you’re just as happy and thankful as we were that cold day, many years ago.
