Stop the Shivering

April 2009, BUB started a "Stop the Shivering" Campaign

Stop the Shivering ensures that dogs that need extra protection from the elements can get it. Facebook is central to our Stop the Shivering campaign.

For every 20 fans that BUB logs on Facebook, a worthy rescue gets a donated coat. It's that simple.

We like Facebook. It is a good way for BUB to engage our fans - those that like the product, want to follow our donation efforts, and be the first to receive discounts and sale news. In addition, our fans allow BUB posts to display on their homepages (their "wall") - what better way to let the world know about BUB's efforts!

Since Facebook is a viral marketing tool, BUB hopes to spread the word about the need of short-haired and shaved rescue dogs and simultaneously raise awaresness that "real dogs do wear coats."

Also, if you become a fan, you'll see that we often run surprise "specials," just on Facebook. The free 10 scarf giveaway, the gift certificates to dogwise.com for photo posts, etc.
