Special Features of the BUB Coat include:

Fitting your BUB coat
You’ll only need to “fit” your BUB coat one time if using the coat for one dog. When you receive your BUB coat, you’ll want to unhook the closure before attempting to put the coat on your dog.

Once your dog is in place, slip the coat over the neck with the collar above the head, and the elastic band below the head. The elastic band should rest at the base of your dog’s neck, where his neck meets his chest. |

Next, make sure the top of the belly panel is positioned in the middle of the elastic band and bring the chest panel up and under the belly of your dog. The panel should end with enough room for your dog to “do his business.” |

Bring the “belt” up around the middle of the dog. For some coats, the closure will be at the top of your dog’s back. For others, it will be along the sides of your BUB coat. Test the width by wrapping around your dog. Then, proceed to adjust exactly the same way you would a nylon dog collar to achieve the best fit. You should be able to slide your fingers under the belt, however, it should feel taut. |
